HILLSIDE HENS FARM
We are a small family farm in Upstate New York. We raise registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, Free Range Pastured laying hens, beef cows, and steers. Our goats enjoy eating tree leaves and lots of beautiful pasture. Our laying hens enjoy chasing bugs and eating grass on a very large field.
We make our own Goat milk soap and more.

A little about our family. Tracey grew up on a dairy farm were we milked over a 100 cows. Her parents were the 10th generation of running that farm. Unfortunately milk prices dropped in 2013 and cows were sold and then on to the next adventure. We started our adventure with laying hens in 2008. We started out small and grew from there. Tracey met her husband Ben. Ben grew up raising beef cows and show chickens. Ben and Tracey got married and then the following year welcomed their first child. Our son absolutely loved the chickens. We expanded our adventure to Registered Nigerian Dwarf goats. We started with two and by the end of the first year we had seven. We grew from there. We loved so much about the goats we started making soap. In 2020 Tracey and Ben welcomed twins. Also in 2020 we expanded our herd genetics. 2022 we started milk testing our herd, few ADGA one day shows, and Linear Appraisal 2023. We are excited for what's to come in the following years. Our next adventure will be to start showing at the local fairs and 4H events. Expand from there as our children grow.
